A 55-year long tradition to officially welcome Fellows.

The Council of the Academy warmly invites Fellows to join them for this official ceremony where elected Fellows have the opportunity to add their signatures to the Academy’s historic Charter Book, alongside those Fellows elected to the Academy since 1969.

Fellows will also receive their Certificates of Fellowship.

Event Date: 4.30-5.15pm (AEDT), Wednesday 12 November 2025
Venue: Chau Chak Wing Auditorium, Business School, Building 8, UTS campus (14–28 Ultimo Road, Ultimo)
Registration: This is a free event. Bookings are essential.

Join us for our 56th Annual Academy Symposium

Our 2025 Symposium, The Humanities and Creative Practice, will be held on 13 & 14 November 2025 in UTS Tech Central, Sydney, NSW.

Featuring an array of scholars, artists, musicians, writers, designers and arts workers, the Symposium will foreground the connection of creative practice and the Humanities in Australian social, cultural, & economic life.
