A 55-year long tradition to officially welcome Fellows.

The Council of the Academy warmly invites Fellows to join them for this official ceremony where elected Fellows have the opportunity to add their signatures to the Academy’s historic Charter Book, alongside those Fellows elected to the Academy since 1969.

Fellows will also receive their Certificates of Fellowship.

The Annual Academy Dinner will follow this event and will provide an opportunity for guests to meet members of the Council and the Secretariat.

Event Date: 6.00-6.30pm for the Signing Ceremony and 6.30-10.00pm for Dinner, Thursday 14 November 2024
Venue: Visions Theatre, National Museum of Australia

The Australian Academy of the Humanities’ 55th Annual Symposium will take on the big questions posed by Horne and bring others to the fore.
