Biography

John Gascoigne was educated at Sydney, Princeton and Cambridge Universities and taught at UNSW from 1980 to 2016. His publications focussed on the Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment with a particular emphasis on the relations between science and religion and Pacific exploration.
