Biography

David Roberts is Emeritus Professor of German at Monash University, a former director of the Centre for Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies, and co-editor of the social theory journal Thesis Eleven. His research interests focus on modernism and postmodernism, aesthetics and genre theory, Marxist critical theory and systems theory, and the sociology of literature.
