Professor Forrest works in the area of the philosophy of physics, epistemology, the philosophy of religion, and other issues in metaphysics and epistemology. He is an editor of the Australasian Journal of Philosophy. His first academic appointment was a Senior Tutor in the Mathematics Department of the University of Western Australia and he currently teaches the areas of Epistemology and Metaphysics at the University of New England. He is engaged, with Brian Miller, on a Philosophy of Science project using an ARC Large Grant.
