Biography

A mathematician turned philosopher Peter Forrest worked at UNE before his retirement. He has published books and articles chiefly in metaphysics and philosophy of religion. His most recent work, Acts of Assent (Bloomsbury 2019) is the first part of a trilogy. The second part, The Essence of Catholicism should appear in 2024. The third, The Presence and Absence of God, has yet to be written. He is also working on the interpretation of quantum theory. He is married to Felicity, has four children and four grandchildren.
