Biography

Dr. Tennant is an Overseas Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge, and is the Arts & Sciences Distinguished Professor in Philosophy, and a Distinguished University Scholar, at The Ohio State University. Before taking up his appointment at The Ohio State University he held positions at the University of Edinburgh, University of Stirling, and the Australian National University. His research interests include Logic, especially proof theory, intuitionism, relevance, belief-revision and computational logic; Evolutionary Epistemology; the Realism/Anti-Realism debate in Metaphysics; Philosophy of Mathematics; Philosophy of Science, especially Philosophy of Biology; and Philosophy of Language.
