Biography

Michael Kieran Harvey is one of Australia’s most distinguished pianists and acclaimed composers. He is a champion of contemporary music and Australian composers, performer of more than 50 solo CDs and for having premiered more than 300 mainly Australian keyboard works (many dedicated to him). As a composer, his works are noted for their innovative language, profound character and as expressions of his social commitment. He curates  The Michael Kieran Harvey Collection recording series and promotes Australian creative piano talent through The Michael Kieran Harvey Scholarship.
