Emeritus Professor Linda Barwick AM FAHA was recognised as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia for her significant service to the preservation and digitisation of cultural heritage recordings. The Honourable Pamela Tate KC AM FAHA was also recognised as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia for her significant service to the judiciary, to the law and to legal education.
Archie Roach AC FAHA was posthumously promoted to Companion of the Order of Australia for “eminent service to the performing arts as a songwriter and musician, to Indigenous rights and reconciliation, and through support for emerging First Nations artists”.
